DATA PORTAL AT IDB
The Data Portal is the IDB’s internal website that centralizes data-related resources, including analytics tools, dashboards, training materials, governance information, and access to datasets.
⛰️ The Challenge
Data resources existed across multiple platforms and teams, making them difficult to discover and navigate—especially for non-technical users.
The challenge was to:
- organize complex information into a clear structure
- make data resources approachable to a broad internal audience
- improve usability without changing the underlying systems
- support adoption through communication and training

Website Design & Coordination:
- UX/UI design and interface refinement
- Content structuring and simplification
- Illustration and visual support
- MVP testing and iteration
- Coordination with Digital Transformation and Analytics teams
- Development and implementation of a communication plan to support rollout and adoption
I joined the project after the initial structure and branding were defined, and focused on improving clarity, navigation, and user experience, while working within existing constraints.
